  • As an Architect, you will be required to manage all phases of the design process,
  • You will liaise with clients to define project requirements, establish project work plan and deadlines.
  • You will ensure that the projects that are assigned to you meet the required budgets and schedule.
  • You will be expected to create persuasive presentations that meet projects’ objectives.
  • Your duties may include on-site supervision for construction sites.
  • You will support business development efforts including cooperation with Marketing and participation in proposal preparation.
  • You may be asked to develop and mentor junior staff focusing on conceptual thinking and quality design implementation.
  • You will be responsible for the overall profitability and design quality of the projects.
  • You will attend weekly scheduling meetings with the office Managing Director, to report on the status of your projects. You will develop, modify and review production drawings and construction documents, correct and update documents, develop solutions to technical problems.
  • Successful candidate will have a good understanding of the practicalities, technical aspects and management processes of all aspects of the Design industry.
  • You may be asked to assist the other offices with project deliverables,

Qualifications- Successful candidates will have:


  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in conceptual design and working experience in commercial, institutional, luxury residential, retail and resort projects; particular experience with modern tropical/Caribbean style design.
  • Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited university required.
  • Professional Architectural License, registration and membership to (RIBA, RAIC, SAIA, AIA, OAA or similar).
  • Experience with modern tropical / Caribbean style design experience. A portfolio of recent projects both built and conceptual will be a large factor in attaining the position.
  • Good presentation and the ability to coordinate projects from design to construction documents and coordinate international consultants and junior staff.
  • We seek individuals with excellent design, technical, presentation, client management and communication skills as well as strong project management and problem solving abilities.
  • We need enthusiastic candidates with experience capable of working on projects throughout the Caribbean and abroad.
  • Candidates with solid working experience in AutoCAD, REVIT, Sketch Up or similar, Photoshop, InDesign & M.S. Office skills.
  • Candidates must have the ability to work quickly and efficiently as part of the architectural team.
  • Knowledge and experience of contract management is required.
  • Strong business development and client relations skills,
  • Willingness and ability to travel abroad with short notice is required.


  • LEED (or similar) certified and an interest in achieving sustainable environmental solutions.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Master’s Degree in Architecture.

Salary & Benefits: CI 5,000 / Monthly + depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include Health Insurance coverage, Pension, Holidays, Personal/Sick Days/Vacation.
